In 1984, Stuart Flowerday joined forces with Rex Holland, using the partnership name of S&R Builders. Together they contracted to construct Skyline Garages, until they took the franchise over in 1986. While the franchise is not the whole of the overall business today, it is still an integral part, adding to the company’s versatility.
Stuart and Rex thought as they began with the franchise, that they would sell one a week and build one a week, then life would be pretty sweet. Over the years, we have had to add more staff to cope with the work, until today we have an office staff of five persons; two for workshop and truck delivery, and eighteen plus in the field building & concreting.
Much of the company’s Skyline business comes from “Skyline” being a household name, a quality economical building, professional quoting & follow-up and repeat customers. Most of Trubet Holdings’ building and construction work—residential, architectural and commercial—is a direct result of successful tendering, ability to keep within timeframes and budgets, and a rapport that has been developed with various architects.
Over all our contracts, Trubet Holdings have a commitment to quality over quantity—and we believe this brings about customer satisfaction, which is our best form of advertising and longevity in the marketplace.
