Skyline Garages, Workshops & Gottages

Proven buildings designed for New Zealand conditions

Garages, workshops and extra buildings are some of the hardest-working spaces on a property — they need to be practical, durable, and built properly from the start.

Explore Skyline building options

Skyline buildings come in a range of layouts designed for storage, workshops, and additional usable space. These options provide a practical starting point when planning the right structure for your property.

Skyline garages and workshops

Storage, workspace, and vehicle protection designed to suit the property.

Garages and workshops are often some of the hardest-working spaces on a property.

Whether the goal is secure vehicle storage, room for tools and equipment, a home workshop, or extra space for day-to-day projects, Trubet works with clients to create buildings that are durable, well designed, and suited to how the space will actually be used.

With Skyline buildings, clients benefit from construction systems that have been proven in New Zealand conditions for decades.

skyline gottages

Skyline Gottages

Flexible buildings that combine garage space with additional rooms.

A Skyline gottage provides the benefits of a garage with the flexibility of additional usable space.

These buildings can be designed to include workshop areas, storage rooms, hobby spaces, or other additional rooms, depending on how the building will be used. Gottages are a popular choice for properties that need more than a standard garage while still maintaining a durable and efficient building footprint.

Trubet works with clients to plan gottage layouts that suit both the property and the way the space will be used day to day.

Built with strength and durability in mind

Solid construction standards designed for New Zealand conditions.

Skyline has been producing buildings since 1956, with a strong reputation for durable construction and proven building systems.

Skyline buildings use LVL J Frame timbers and H3.2 treated bottom plates, combined with durable steel cladding. Skyline does not use less than 0.40mm high-quality steel, while Skyline gutters are manufactured from 0.55mm steel for long-lasting performance.

With studs spaced no more than 600mm apart, trusses no more than 1200mm apart, and purlins at 450mm centres, Skyline buildings are engineered to a robust standard designed to deliver strength, stability, and long-term performance in New Zealand’s demanding climate.
